NB: The 25% deposit, which
is required before a booking, is a non-refundable deposit. You
are advised to take out a Travel Insurance policy with a cancellation
clause such as Chez Nous Personal Travel Policy, which may enable
you to recover non-refundable monies.
The £50 deposit that
is required in addition to the balance, to be paid 3 weeks prior
to the rental period, is a fully refundable deposit and will
be paid back to you when the keys have been satisfactorily returned
and the property found to be satisfactorily vacated in a clean
condition. Regrettably, this deposit will be retained upon you
failing to return the keys or you unsatisfactorily vacating the
property in a clean condition.

RESIDE IN THE PROPERTY ON WHOSE BEHALF I AM DULY AUTHORISED TO
MAKE THIS AGREEMENT. I AM OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE.

NOTES AND BOOKING CONDITIONS
- 1. Lettings are provisional
until confirmed in writing by the owner.
- 2. Lettings are for whole
weeks only, strictly from 12 noon Saturday (French time)
- 3. Additional people joining
your party will be charged at £30 per week, per person.
- 4. Tenants are responsible
for their own cleaning and must clean and tidy up before they
leave in readiness for the next Tenant. The Tenant pledges to
pay for any additional cleaning costs if the property is found
to be in an unacceptable condition.
- 5. All Tenants are asked to
supply their own bed linen and towels (One king size and one
double duvet, a cot duvet, plus four pillows are available for
use at the apartment).
- 6. Electricity and water is
included in the rental rate.
- 7. Telephone is generally
not available. However, if required this can be made available
with an additional charge of £50 deposit - the balance
to be refunded/charged once calls have been itemised.
- 8. Rental prices are itemised
on this site, or in the advertisement, letter and brochure sent
to the Tenant.
- 9. Accidental damage is the
responsibility of the Tenant, and where possible, damage must
be repaired or items replaced by the Tenant prior to departure.
Otherwise, a charge by the owner to the Tenant will be made to
cover the cost of repair.
- 10. The Tenant agrees to be
a considerate Tenant and take good care of the property and to
leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental
period. The Tenant also agrees to act in a way that would not
cause disturbance to other users of the building and residents
of neighbouring properties.
- 11. Bank Holidays, Easter
and Christmas are deemed to be High Season.
- 12. Cheques shall be payable
to Kim Strasman.
- 13. The owner shall not be
liable to the Tenant for
- Any temporary defect or stoppage
in the supply of public services to the property nor in respect
of any equipment, plant machinery or appliance in the property.
- For any loss damage or injury
that is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war,
strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owner.
- For any loss damage or inconvenience
caused to or suffered by the Tenant if the property shall be
destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental
period and in any such event the owner shall within 7 days notification
to the Tenant, refund to the Tenant all sums previously paid
in respect of the rental period.
- 14. Under no circumstances
shall the owner's liability to the Tenant exceed the amount paid
the owner for the rental period.
- 15. This contract shall be
governed by English law in every particular including formation
and interpretation and shall be deemed to be made in England.
Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract
may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England.
